What “certified” actually means
Anyone can apply a coating. A certified Pro-Tec applicator is the only route to a Pro-Tec written warranty, because the warranty is issued against a documented, to-specification application.
Documented at the vehicle
Your vehicle, the products applied, and the date of service are recorded so the warranty can be validated later if you ever file a claim.
Backed by the claims team
Claims are administered by Pro-Tec, not by the shop. If an applicator relationship ever changes, your written warranty is still administered by Pro-Tec.
